Bulls Travel to Bowling Green on Wednesday

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women's basketball team concludes their two-game road trip with a contest at Bowling Green on Wednesday at 7pm.
The game will be streamed on ESPN3 with Brad Woznicki (play-by-play) and Darryl Kosciak (color) announcing and can be heard on the radio on AM 1400 or on the Varsity Network with Matt Mattia on the call.
Buffalo is 8-4 overall and 2-0 in league play after defeating Miami (OH) 88-83 at Millett Hall on Saturday. Five Bulls scored in double figures, led by junior guard Dyaisha Fair who scored 26 of her game-high 28 points in the second half to go with seven rebounds and five assists. Summer Hemphill just missed out on a double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds and Adebola Adeyeye had a big game for UB with 15 points. Junior Dominique Camp had a near double-double as well with 11 points and nine assists and Georgia Woolley extended her double figure scoring streak to seven games with 10 points and eight rebounds.
Fair leads the Bulls and ranks seventh in the nation in scoring at 22.3 points per game. Hemphill is almost averaging just under a double-double with 16.0 points and 8.5 rebounds per game while Woolley has scored in double figures in seven straight games and is averaging 10.0 points per game. The Bulls are ranked 61st in the latest NET rankings, the highest of any MAC schools. They are also ranked 18th in the College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 poll.
Bowling Green enters Wednesday's contest with a 6-4 overall record and a 1-0 league mark after defeating Ball State 82-58 on Saturday. The Falcons are led offensively by Morgan Sharps who is averaging 11.9 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. Elissa Brett (10.3 ppg, 6.0 rpg) and Kadie Hempfling (10.0 ppg, 4.1 rpg) are also averaging in double figures. The Falcons are 4-1 at the Stroh Center this season. BGSU head coach Robyn Fralick picked up the 150th win of her career in Saturday's triumph over Ball State.
Up next, Buffalo return home to host Kent State at Alumni Arena on Saturday, January 8 at 1pm.
