Bulls Host Louisiana Monroe in MAC-Sun Belt Challenge

BUFFALO, NY – The Mid-American Conference (MAC) and Sun Belt Conference (SBC) announced the matchups for game two of the MAC-SBC Challenge on Tuesday afternoon. The Bulls will host Louisiana Monroe on Saturday, February 7 at 2pm. This will mark the first ever meeting between the Bulls and Warhawks.
Louisiana Monroe is 6-7 overall and 1-3 in league play. Graduate student guard J'Mani Ingram leads the team in scoring at 12.4 points per game. Graduate student center Marcavia Shavers is averaging just under a double-double at 8.7 points and 8.5 rebounds per contest and four other players are averaging seven-plus points. As a team, the Warhawks rank third in the league in bench points per game (26.0), while ranking fifth in offensive rebounding (14.5), rebound margin (+3.3) and turnovers forced per game (20.6).
Scheduling assistance is provided by Ordinal Sports Group. In addition to relevant NET data, geography and frequency of past contests is considered in determining the matchups.
Each MAC-SBC Challenge game will be carried on an ESPN platform.
