BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo women's basketball head coach Kristen Sharkey has announced the signing of Kyleigh Hall to the roster for the 2025-26 season.
Hall, a 5'9 forward, comes to Buffalo from Louisville, Kentucky where she attended Assumption High School, guiding the Rockets to two state championships, back-to-back district championships and a top 10 team ranking. Individually, Hall was a two-time All-Region and All-District selection while garnering four Player of the Week honors.
She is coming off a stellar senior season in which she led the team in rebounding (6.3 rpg) and field goal percentage (.500) while ranking second in scoring (10.0 ppg) to help lead the Rockets to a 23-6 overall record and a fourth Division 5 state championship. Hall served as an anchor for a Rockets' defense that led the region in scoring defense (41.9) and ranked second in scoring offense (63.7). As a junior, Hall led the Rockets to a District Championship, recording a double-double with 23 points and 14 rebounds in the title game. Additionally, she played her AAU ball for WPA Bruins where they advanced to the Under Armor Sweet 16 and were three-time tournament champions.
Off the court, Hall was a standout in the classroom as she was a four-time All-State First Team academic selection, a member of the National Honors Society and National Spanish Honors Society and the president of the Black Student Union.
"Kyleigh is a tough, under-recruited talent with the potential to become a standout player in the MAC," said Sharkey. "She brings relentless fight and passion every time she steps on the floor. She won't back down from anyone and plays with a chip on her shoulder that fuels her drive. Kyleigh is out to earn everything, every single day, and that mentality sets her apart and that is what we will build our culture around. Welcome to the sisterhood, Kyleigh!"
