Bulls to Travel to Coastal Carolina for MAC-SBC Challenge

BUFFALO, NY – The Mid-American Conference (MAC) and Sun Belt Conference (SBC) announced the matchups for game two of the MAC-SBC Challenge on Monday afternoon. The Bulls will travel to Coastal Carolina on Saturday, February 8. This will mark the first ever meeting between the Bulls and Chanticleers.
Scheduling assistance is provided by Ordinal Sports Group. In addition to relevant NET data, geography and frequency of past contests is considered in determining the matchups.
Coastal Carolina is 12-3 overall, including a perfect 7-0 at the HTC Center, and 3-2 in league play after falling to Appalachian State on Saturday. Junior guard Savannah Brooks leads the team and ranks fifth in the league in scoring at 14.6 points per game. Sophomore forward Alancia Ramsey (11.2 ppg) and senior guard Kristin Williams (10.0 ppg) are also averaging in double figures, with the former also leading the team in rebounding at 6.2 rebounds per contest.
As a team, the Chanticleers lead the Sun Belt in scoring (78.3), scoring margin (+15.9), steals (12.6) and turnover margin (+8.3), while ranking in the top three in the league in field goal percentage (.428) and assists (15.3).
Each MAC-SBC Challenge game will be carried on an ESPN platform.
