BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo women's basketball head coach Becky Burke announced the signing of Terah Harness to the roster for the 2024-25 season. She has one year of eligibility remaining.
Harness, a 5'9" guard from New Carlisle, OH, is no stranger to Burke or her system as she played her freshman season at USC Upstate, appearing in 30 games, starting in 28, to help lead the Spartans to a 22-win season. She was named to the Big South All-Freshman Team after averaging 8.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game and made 60 three-pointers while shooting 35% from behind the arc. She set a career-high of 19 points against Winthrop in February 2022, making six three-pointers in the contest.
Following her time at USC Upstate, she played two seasons at Marshall University where she appeared in 47 games across two seasons, including ranking second on the team in three-point field goal percentage and third in threes made as a sophomore.
"Terah is a knock down shooter that can put the ball on the floor and finish at the rim as well," said Burke. "She brings a threat from the perimeter that our team needs offensively moving forward, and she will allow us to space the floor extremely well. I'm so excited to have the opportunity to coach Terah again and I am thrilled she chose UB."
