
Women's Hoops To Play Ohio State In The NCAA First Round

BUFFALO, NY – As Mid-American Conference Champions, The University at Buffalo women's basketball team will head to Columbus, Ohio as the #14 seed and will face #3 Ohio State in the NCAA First Round. The game will take place on Friday, March 18 with a tip time of 2:30pm. It will air nationally on ESPN2.
The Bulls are making their first ever trip to the big dance after Saturday's 73-71 overtime win over Central Michigan in the MAC Championship Game. The Bulls collected their first overtime victory of the season behind a Stephanie Reid floater as time expired.
Ohio State is ranked 9th nationally and is 24-7 on the season and finished 15-3 in Big Ten play.
This marks the first meeting between the two schools in program history. UB head coach Felisha Legette-Jack has coached against the Buckeyes in the past, collecting a pair of wins over ranked Ohio State teams while at Indiana.
The Ohio State-Buffalo winner will face the winner of the game between West Virginia and Princeton on Sunday.
