
UB Women's Basketball to Host Trio of Summer Camps

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo, State University of New York women's basketball team will be hosting three girls' basketball camps this summer.
The Bulls will host a team camp June 26-27, an elite camp on Aug. 1 and a fundamental camp Aug. 10-14.
The team camp will cost $125. Teams will be guaranteed five games and will have the opportunity at a question & answer session with UB's student-athletes and/or the coaching staff.
The elite camp is for high school students and will cost $45. It will run from 9 am to 12 pm and 1 to 4 pm. Players will learn skills for both the guard and post positions as they participate in drills throughout the day. The clinic will conclude with a regulation game.
The fundamental camp is for players entering grades 2-8 and will cost $280. A family/team rate of $250 is available for two or more sisters/players from the same family/team. The camp is designed to teach all players the fundamental skills of the game. Campers will be divided according to age and skill level. Each day will involve working on shooting, ball handling, defense, passing and team play. Contests, games and lectures will be featured daily. Gym doors will open at 8:30 am. Camp will run from 9 am to 4 pm with Friday's session concluding at noon.
