High School: Nicole Benati comes to Buffalo to carry on the legacy left behind by her sister, former UB great Julia Benati. The Dorchester, Ontario native had a very successful club career for the London Youth Whitecaps as she helped lead the squad to the 2015 Ontario Cup championship. She also helped guide her squad to the 2017 Ontario Cup final.
Personal: Born on September 28, 2000... daughter of Kari and Rob Benati... has one older sister, Julia, who played for Buffalo from 2014-17... other hobbies include rock climbing and hiking... lists her favorite athlete as Lionel Messi... her greatest athletic experience was training with the men''s Eurostar Academy... plans on majoring in mathematics at UB.
