Before Buffalo: Johnson comes to Buffalo from Monroe Community College where she appeared in 19 games, earning 11 starts between the pipes. She earned WNYAC All-Conference second team honors as a sophomore. Before MCC, Johnson starred at Southwestern Central High School in Jamestown, NY where she was a two-time CCAA West Division All Star. Johnson also participated at the NJCAA Nationals Tournament. Off the pitch, Johnson was a 2021 Academic All-Region honoree.
