2022: Started all 21 games in her final season in the blue and white… Named United Soccer Coaches Third Team All-American… Received All-Midwest Region First Team honors… Earned Second Team All-MAC recognition…Was a catalyst for a strong UB midfield and backline as she has helped the Bulls 14 clean sheets on the season, tied for the most in program history, and a 0.43 goals against average, while adding a goal and two assists on the season.
2021: Appeared and started in 15 games as a senior… Named MAC Defensive Player of the Year… Recorded two goals and two assists while also helping to lead a strong UB defense to eight clean sheets on the season and a goals against average of 0.96… scored goals in wins over Canisius (9/9) and UConn (9/18)… recorded a goal in the win at Eastern Michigan (10/7).
2020: One of five Bulls to start all eight games as a junior… Named MAC Defensive Player of the Year… Recorded three assists while also serving as a catalyst for a strong UB defense as she helped the Bulls secure four clean sheets on the season while holding opponents to a 0.59 goals-against average.
2019: Appeared in all 20 games, earning 18 starts for the Bulls during a breakout sophomore campaign… Recorded career-highs in goals (3), assists (2), points (8) and shots (17)… Scored her first career goal in a draw with Albany (9/8)… Recorded her first multi-goal game, including the game-winner, in a 5-0 win over Northern Illinois (10/18)… Notched five multi-shot games, including a season-high four against NIU.
2018: Made an immediate impact in her first season with the Bulls starting in 18 games in the midfield during her freshman campaign… Finished the season with two points, two assists and 13 shots… Recorded her first career assist at St. John’s (8/20)… Took two shots and recorded an assist in a 1-0 win over Toledo (10/18)… Had four games with at least two shots.
High School: Hannah Callaghan comes to the Bulls after a very successful career at Wheatland-Chili high school where she played for head coach Gary Ward. The crafty midfielder earned All-New York State honors three times during her career while also being named New York State Player of the Year during her junior season. She helped lead her team to three Sectional and Regional championships while also two State Championships. She wrapped up her senior campaign with 22 goals and 10 assists while leading her team to a 15-1-1 record. She wrapped up her successful career ranking second in school history with 90 goals. At the club level, Callaghan played for the Rochester Jr. Rhinos and help lead her team to the State Cup Championship in 2016.
