Bulls Host Ohio on Senior Day

BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo women's soccer team (4-3-3, 1-1-1 MAC) returns home to host Ohio on Senior Day at Broadview Stadium at 1pm.
It is the 32nd meeting between Buffalo and Ohio with the Bulls owning a narrow 16-14-1 series edge. The Bulls defeated the Bobcats 2-1 at Chessa Field last season.
Buffalo played to a scoreless draw at Miami (OH) on Thursday night. The RedHawks outshot the Bulls 10-6, including a 3-2 edge in shots on goal, while also maintaining an 11-2 advantage in corner kick opportunities. Senior Lexie Thompson made three saves on the night for her seventh clean sheet of the season.
The Bulls currently rank third in the MAC in shutout percentage (.636) and goals against average (0.91), fourth in save percentage (.804) and fifth in assists (11). Two-time MAC Goalkeeper of the Year Lexie Thompson leads UB between the pipes as she leads the MAC and is one of 10 goalkeepers nationally with seven shutouts while also ranking third in the MAC in goals against average (0.91) and save percentage (.804) and fourth in saves (38).
Ohio is 3-6-1 overall record and 0-3-1 in league play after playing to a 2-2 draw with Central Michigan on Thursday. The Bobcats are balanced offensively with 18 goals coming off the feet of 10 different players, led by senior forward Jaimason Brooker who has recorded three goals and two assists on the year and freshman midfielder Camille Francis who has also scored a trio of goals. Freshman Ayla Rammel leads Ohio between the pipes, compiling a 2-5-1 overall record while recording a 1.88 goals against average and .709 save percentage with 39 saves across nine games this season.
