
Women’s Soccer Announces 2025 Fall Schedule

BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo women's soccer head coach Shawn Burke announced the Bulls' 2025 fall schedule on Thursday.
The schedule is highlighted by a road trip at Big Ten opponent and Sweet 16 participant, Michigan State, as well as rematches with Colgate and Colorado College and a pair of Western New York rivals.
"We are excited for the addition of UMass to the MAC," said Burke. "A top-quality program who will elevate our conference. As we continue to pursue championships, we know we have to challenge ourselves against the best, and traveling to Michigan State will be the ultimate test."
The Bulls will open the season with a pair of road games beginning on August 14 at Big 4 rival Canisius, before traveling down I-90 for a rematch with the Colgate Raiders on August 17.
UB will host Colorado College under the lights on Youth Sports Day at UB Stadium on August 21 before traveling to East Lansing for a clash with the Michigan State Spartans on August 28.
The Bulls will then open the month of September at Niagara on September 3 before hosting Mercyhurst on International Student Day in the non-conference finale on September 11.
After a bye week, the Bulls will open Mid-American Conference play on September 18 at Eastern Michigan before returning to UB Stadium to take on Miami (OH) in the team's Alzheimer's Awareness and Alumni Appreciation game on September 21.
Buffalo will then remain home to host Ball State on Game ChangeHER Night on September 25 before traveling to Kent State for a clash with the Golden Flashes on September 28.
UB will open the month of October at home for their H3H Mental Health Awareness Game against Akron on October 2 before heading back on the road for a contest at Northern Illinois on October 5.
The Bulls will then travel to new league member UMass on October 9 before returning home on October 12 to host Central Michigan on Senior Day at UB Stadium.
UB will travel to Ohio for a clash with the Bobcats on October 16. After a bye weekend, the Bulls will host Bowling Green in their Pink Game on October 23 before embarking on their final road trip of the regular season to Toledo for a tilt with the Rockets on October 26.
The Bulls will close the regular season at home against Western Michigan on October 29 in a rematch of last year's MAC Championship game.
The Mid-American Conference Tournament will begin with the quarterfinal round on Saturday, November 3rd and will continue with the semifinals on Tuesday, November 4th and the championship match on Friday, November 7th.
Buffalo returns 13 letterwinners from last year's squad that advanced to the MAC championship game for the second time in three years, including 2024 MAC Goalkeeper of the Year, Lexie Thompson, All MAC First Team selection Frederique St.-Jean, All-MAC Second Team honoree Ellie Simmons and All-Freshman Team selection Carolyn Hinkle.
