Men’s Tennis Set To Host A Pair Of MAC Matches

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team begins a five-match homestand this weekend beginning on Friday against Toledo. The Bulls will also host Ball State on Sunday.
Buffalo was off this past weekend and brings a 3-3 record into this weekend's action and a 1-2 mark in MAC play. This will be UB's first home matches since Feb. 20, a stretch of over 40 days.
The Rockets are 4-5 on the season and are still looking for their first Mid-American Conference victory, having losses to the three ranked programs in the league in Northern Illinois, Western Michigan, and Ball State.
The Cardinals are 12-3 on the season, but two of their three losses have come in conference play to Western Michigan and Northern Illinois. Ball State is currently ranked 46th nationally in the latest Oracle/ITA Men's Tennis rankings, on of three MAC teams in the top 50 of the league rankings.
If weather cooperates, matches take place at the UB Tennis Courts outdoors, otherwise matches will be held indoors at the Miller Tennis Center.
