Bulls Bounce Back with 4-3 Win at Ball State

MUNCIE, IN – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team (11-6, 5-2) bounced back with a 4-3 win at Ball State on Saturday afternoon.
Buffalo got off to a strong start as Theodoros Mitsakos and Clement Mainguy cruised to a 6-1 win at first singles and Onder Balci and Michael Malkin followed with a 6-2 victory at the second position to clinch the doubles point.
In singles action, Mainguy won 6-2, 6-4 at the third position to put UB up 2-1. After the hosts answered with wins at first and second to regain the lead, Faiz Nasyam battled to a 7-5, 6-3 win at six singles and Emiliano Jorquera clinched the match for UB one minute later with a 6-3, 6-3 victory at fifth singles.
Up next, Buffalo will return home for a pair of matches, beginning on Thursday, April 2 when they host Northern Illinois at 1pm.
