2025-26: Earned All-MAC Second Team Recognition… Named the Most Outstanding Player at the MAC Tournament Championship, winning both of his matches, including the clinching point in the semifinals… Went 14-17 in singles action, playing in the top three spots in the lineup… Recorded a 15-8 overall record, including a 14-7 mark with partner Theodoros Mitsakos at the first position… Earned MAC Doubles Team of the Week a league-best four times… Named to CSC Academic All-District Team… Earned Academic All-MAC honors.
2024-25: Made an immediate impact in his first season in the blue and white… Went 16-8 in singles play, including back-to-back wins in the MAC Tournament and several clinch points in league play… Recorded an 11-6 doubles record, including a 10-6 mark with partner Mainguy, good for second best on the squad… Earned MAC Player of the Week three times… Named to CSC Academic All-District Team for the first time.
Before Buffalo: Mainguy, comes to UB after a successful start to his collegiate career at Youngstown State. He was the 2022 Horizon League Freshman of the Year after setting school records for singles wins in a season and finishing the season with a 19-3 record in dual matches. He is also a member of Davis Cup for Vanuatu and reached a career high of 174 in the ITF World Junior Rankings prior to Youngstown.
