Bulls Drop Contest at Northern Illinois on Thursday

DEKALB, IL – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team (9-5, 3-1) fell 4-3 at Northern Illinois on Thursday afternoon.
The Bulls got off to a good start as Minjae Kim and Faiz Nasyam won 6-3 at third doubles and Onder Balci and Michael Malkin rallied from a 5-2 deficit to win 7-5 at the second position to clinch the doubles point for UB.
The hosts then heated up in singles action as they won four straight matches at the top of the lineup to secure the victory. Emiliano Jorquera won 6-2 6-2 at fifth singles and Faiz Nasyam rounded out the scoring for UB with a 6-1, 4-6, 10-4 win at six singles.
Up next, Buffalo will close out the weekend at UIC on Saturday, March 21.
