Bulls Fall at Western Michigan on Thursday

KALAMAZOO, MI – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team (10-6, 4-2) battled back but ultimately came up short in a 4-3 loss at Western Michigan on Thursday afternoon.
The Broncos took the doubles point with wins at first and second doubles.
The Bulls got off to a strong start in singles action as Onder Balci won 6-3, 6-3 at second singles and Faiz Nasyam followed with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at six singles to put UB up 2-1, but the hosts responded with wins at fourth and fifth singles to regain the lead and they would clinch the match with a win at the first position. Graduate student Clement Mainguy rounded out the scoring for UB with a hard-fought 6-7, 7-6, 6-2 win at second singles.
Up next, Buffalo will close out the weekend at Ball State on Saturday at 1pm.
