
Bulls Hit The Road For A Pair Of Weekend Matches

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team will take its 7-1 record on the road this weekend as the Bulls will travel to Bethlehem, PA for two matches. The Bulls will face Lehigh on Saturday afternoon, followed by NJIT in a neutral site match on Sunday.
UB has won three straight following a 7-0 victory over Skidmore College this past Sunday. Five players are in double figures in singles victories as Buffalo is 38-10 overall in singles over its eight dual matches. The Bulls have also had a ton of success in doubles where they are 21-3 over the eight matches.
Lehigh is 5-2 on the season and has played all seven of their dual matches at home this season. They are coming off a 6-1 victory over Duquesne with their only two losses coming to Villanova and Drexel. Lehigh will face NJIT on Friday afternoon before the match against the Bulls on Saturday.
NJIT enters the weekend and its Friday match with Lehigh at 6-3 on the season. They have won four of their six matches by sweeping their competition, including a 4-0 victory over UConn. The only three losses for the Highlanders have come courtesy of Penn, Rutgers, and St. John's.
The Bulls will return home next weekend for matches against Wright State on Friday and Binghamton on Saturday.
