Bulls Fall at Bowling Green on Friday

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team (18-5, 5-1 MAC) fell 4-3 at Bowling Green on Friday afternoon.
The Bulls got off to a great start as Esmee Andresen and Maria Glowacka cruised to a 6-2 win at first doubles and Liv Roestel and Blanca Berges and then Sarah Hartel and Julia Laspro won their matches 6-4 at the second and third positions, respectively, to give the Bulls a 1-0 lead in the match.
Laspro continued her strong play, earning a 7-5, 6-1 win at second singles, but the hosts responded with four straight singles wins to clinch the victory. Berges overcame a dropped first set to win 5-7, 6-3, 6-0 at six singles.
Up next, Buffalo will return home to host Western Michigan on Senior Day at Miller Tennis Center at 12pm.
