YPSILANTI, MI – The University at Buffalo, The State University of New York women's soccer team (6-4-1, 2-1-0 MAC) won their second straight Mid-American Conference match on Friday afternoon on the road at Eastern Michigan, 1-0. Julia Benati scored the lone UB goal for the second straight game.

- The Short Story: Julia Benati notched her team-leading fourth goal of the season in the 66th minute to lift the UB women's soccer team to their second straight MAC victory over Eastern Michigan, 1-0. Laura Dougall eanred her 22nd career victory, tying her for third all-time in program history with Ainsley Wheldon.

How It Happened
- Eastern Michigan was able to get the first shot on goal in the ninth minute as Chelsie Oddan had her blast turned away by Laura Dougall.
- Just over 30 seconds later, Dougall was forced to make another save as she was able to push Megan Trapp's shot out of bounds, keeping the game scoreless.
- Carissima Cutrona was able to get the Bulls first shot of the match as she saw her header attempt saved by the Eastern Michigan keeper.
- In the 30th minute of play, Julia Benati worked her way in tight on the keeper but her hard shot was denied.
- In the final five minutes of the half, Eastern Michigan had a shot blocked and UB countered with a shot of their own as Carissima Cutrona fired one just wide, keeping the game scoreless at half.
- In the 50th minute, Carissima Cutrona was able to shake free and take a shot that was denied by Kaylin Williams.
- The Bulls were able to break through with their first goal in the 66th minute as Julia Benati buried her fourth goal of the season after a perfect cross from Carissima Cutrona. The assist for Cutrona was her third of the season and second straight game with an assist.
- The Bulls continued to pressure the Eagles after the goal as Kassidy Kidd had a shot go just high and out of play in the 76th minute.
- In the 81st minute, Kassidy Kidd had another scoring opportunity but her blast was saved by the Eagles keeper.
- The Bulls defense was strong in the final 10 minutes as they didn't allow a Eastern Michigan shot, earning their sixth shutout of the season.
