
Trio of Bulls Earn MAC Postseason Honors

BUFFALO, NY - The their efforts in helping the women's soccer team win 11 more games than last season and earn the program's second trip ever to the conference semifinals, three Buffalo players were selected to the Mid-American Conference's postseason teams. Senior Aubrey Stahl made the All-MAC second team, while Katie Roberts and Megan Giesen were named to the All-Freshman team.
Stahl scored all five of her goals this season against conference opponents and appeared in every game (making 15 starts). She also had two assists for the season and finished second on the team in points. Roberts posted team highs in goals (6) and assists (4) en route to her All-Freshman honors. The Homerville, OH native made 15 starts and appeared in every game. Her former club teammate and classmate Giesen also earned the All-Freshman nod. Before suffering an injury to end her season, Giesen scored two goals and added in assists in her 18 appearances.

Tomorrow, the team will take on Toledo in the semifinal round of the conference tournament. The winner will face the Western Michigan/Central Michigan winner on Sunday for the MAC title. This season, the Bulls have beaten Western at home, tied Central on the road, and lost to Toledo on the road 2-0.
