Bio
2022-23: Earned Second Team All-MAC honors after recording a career and team-high 19 singles wins, including a 6-3 mark at the third position… also spent time at first and second singles… named MAC Player of the Week on April 6… set a new career-high with a team best 22-9 overall doubles record, including a dominant 19-9 with partner Simon Wibler where they went 8-6 at first doubles, earning MAC Doubles Team of the Week honors on January 19… earned MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week honors on March 1… named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District.
2021-22: Was 12-14 in singles action seeing time at first, second and third singles…named MAC Singles Player of the Week on April 20… went 13-16 in doubles action including a 7-6 record and reaching the doubles quarterfinals at the ITA Northeast Regionals with partner Cheng Tang…went 6-9 including a 4-1 record at third doubles with partner Danils Snaiders where they were honored as the MAC Doubles Team of the Week.
2020-21: Was 7-3 in singles action including a 4-2 record at fifth singles…also spent time at fourth and sixth singles…went 3-6 in doubles action primarily at the second position with partners Bjoern Petersen and Valdemar Holm.
2019-20: Was 6-7 in singles action before the season was halted due to COVID-19…played most of his matches at fifth singles…was 7-5 in doubles play.
2018-19: Went 14-13 in singles in his first season with Bulls…playing most of the year at sixth singles where he was 8-6…also picked up 10 victories in doubles action.
Prior To UB: Was ranked a top five player in Sweden as a junior…he earned a national championship in doubles, while making the semifinals of some of the biggest tournaments in Sweden during his career…he also earned four silver medals in doubles at the Swedish Nationals and two bronze medals in singles.
Personal: Born May 24, 1999…son of Maria Wibler…enjoys hockey, soccer, and basketball…favorite food is pizza and favorite musical group is Iron Maiden…chose UB because of the excellent tennis program and the education he would get.
