BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo men's tennis duo of Theodoros Mitsakos and Clement Mainguy have been named the Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.
It is the second weekly honor for the pairing and the third overall for the Bulls this season.
Mitsakos and Mainguy turned in a phenomenal performance on Saturday as they defeated the #20 doubles team in the country in Bryant's Daniel Baquero and Miguel Angel Machado, 7-6(5), to lead the Bulls to a 4-3 upset victory over the Bulldogs.
The Bulls return to action on Friday, January 13 when they host Binghamton at Miller Tennis Center.
