Bulls Fall At Northern Illinois, 6-1

DEKALB, IL – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team fell to a red-hot Northern Illinois squad on Friday afternoon, 6-1, picking up its first MAC defeat of the year. The Bulls are now 3-2 on the year, while NIU improves to 14-1.
Junior Simon Wibler and Valdemar Holm claimed UB's lone victory in doubles as they scored a 6-4 win at two.
In singles action, Wibler was again victorious as he picked up a 7-5, 6-3 win at fifth singles. At fourth singles, Holm won his opening set before falling in three.
The Bulls will return to action on Sunday morning at Western Michigan.
