
2010 Team Highlights

- 11 underclassmen played major roles as either a starter or main sub for the team, including four freshman that started in at least 13 games (Coviello, Gross, Jurisevic, Wheldon).
- Five of the team's top six shot takers will be back in 2011 to lead the Buffalo attack. Eight main starters will return to the starting 11 next season, not counting the return of forward Stephanie Velez and goalie Ainsley Wheldon from injuries.
- The Bulls will return four of its top scorers in 2011, and 83% of its scoring output from 2010. The team will also return the top two goalies in the depth chart, including freshman Ainsley Wheldon, who finished one save shy of making the top 15 single season saves list in Buffalo history despite missing the final three games of the season with an injury.
- With the team's 3-2 win over St. Bonaventure, the Bulls bested the Bonnies for the first time since 2006. The team also earned points for the first time since 2007 against Ball State, playing the Cardinals to a 2-2 tie.
- The team had three multiple-goal games, the most since 2008
- Four Bulls scored their first career goals in 2010 (Megan Abman, Shannon Algoe, Natasha Arana, Taylor Thompson)
