2012-13: Recorded a third-place finish in theshot put at the MAC Outdoor Championships with a throw of 50-11.5(15.53m) as a junior...took home a 10th place finish in the shotput at the SPIRE Division I Invitational with a throw of 45-9.75(13.96m).
2011-12: Placed sixth in the shot put(47-11.25) at the MAC Outdoor Championships and seventh in theevent (46-7.25) at the MAC Indoor Championships. Had top shot putmarks of 49-2.50 (indoor) at Penn State’s Sykes-SabockChallenge Cup and 50-8 (outdoors) at the Penn Relays. Competed inthe NCAA East Regionals placing 45th in the shot put at44-8.75.
2010-11: Finished fourth in the shot put (48-0)at the MAC Indoor Championships. Posted top indoor shot put mark of49-11.75 at the Akron Invitational. Had season-best outdoor shotput distance of 50-4.75 at Toledo Collegiate Challenge.
2009-10: Did not compete during the indoor oroutdoor track seasons.
High School: Earned five letters and captainedtwo seasons for coach Faye Harper at Remsen High School. Finishedthird in the discus at the 2009 state championships. Took second inthe shot put at 2008 state championships and New York StateFederation Championships. Won gold medal at 2008 Empire State Gameswith a record shot put of 44-4. Four-year league champion in bothshot put and discus. Set school records in basketball for points ina game (37) and a season. Also team MVP in soccer.
Personal: Born May 25, 1991. Daughter of Johnand Lisa Roberts. Has one sister (Lenee). Hobbies include showingcows. Favorite movie is Forrest Gump. Enjoys country musicwith Carrie Underwood as her favorite singer. Grew up on a farm andadmires the profession because “it requires a lot of workwith little pay and people do it because they love it not for themoney but for the animals.” Majoring in exercise science.
