2013-14: McCann raced in five individual events as a junior...tallied indoor-best times of 7.07 in the 60, 22.93 in the 200 run and 7.11 meters in the long jump...outdoors he raced to a 10.99 finish in the 100 dash and leaped 7.08 meters in the long jump to place second at the 2014 Cornell Outdoor Invitational.
2012-13: Recorded at fifth place finish at the Big Red Invitational in the long jump with a jump of 24-1.75 (7.36m)...picked up a fourth place finish at the Cornell Marc Denault Invite with a long jump of 22-7.75 (6.90m).
2011-12: Finished eighth in the long jump (22-5) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Posted top outdoor long jump mark of 22-7.25 at the Cornell Big Red Invitational. Also set top track times in the 100m (11.38) and 200m (23.17). Did not compete during the indoor season.
High School: Lettered three times and captained one season at Scotia-Glenville High School for coach Jim Krogh. Finished 19th in the long jump (20-11.25) at the 2011 New York State Indoor Championsips. Also lettered two seasons in football for the Tartans.
Personal: Born February 14, 1993. Son of Donald McCann Sr. and Barbara Kane. Favorite foods include spaghetti and chicken. Favoritem movies are Rocky and The Departed. Majoring in mathematics with a career goal of teaching high school mathematics.
