2012-13: Picked up a fifth place finish at theCornell Upstate Challenge with a high jump height of 6-8.25(2.04m)...recorded his best outdoor high jump height of 6-6.25(1.99m) at the Wake Forest Open.
2011-12: Won the Mid-American Conference highjump title and earned first-team All-MAC honors setting the UBschool record with a height of 6-9.50 at the MAC OutdoorChampionships. Finished ninth in the high jump (season-best 6-6.75)at the MAC Indoor Championships.
High School: Earned four letters and captainedtwo seasons for coach Rob Pawlak at Panama High School. Won theDivision II high jump title (6-8) at the 2011 New York StateOutdoor Championships. Also lettered in basketball and soccer forthe Panthers.
Personal: Born December 12, 1992. Son of Danand Sally Strickland. Has two sisters (Heather, Lori). Favoriteathletes include Fred Jackson and Blake Griffin. Lists winning thestate high jump title as his greatest athletic experience. Majoringin computer engineering.
