2012-13: Picked up a second-place finish at theBucknell Bison Outdoor Classic in the pole vault with a season-bestheight of 12-8.25 (3.87m)...took home a sixth-place finish at theIndoor MAC Championships in the pole vault with a height of 12-6.75(3.83m).
2011-12: Finished ninth with a season-bestheight of 12-1.50 in the pole vault at the MAC IndoorChampionships. Had top outdoor pole vault height of 11-8.50 atCortland Classic Invitational.
Previous College: Attended Ithaca College whereshe was a member of the Bombers’ women’s gymnasticsteam.
High School: Earned five letters and captainedtwo seasons at Lewiston-Porter High School for coach Mark Johnson.Won the 2010 Niagara Frontier League pole vault title and finishedsecond in the sectionals, qualifying for the statechampionships.
Personal: Born February 22, 1992. Daughter ofPatrick Roemer and Cyndi Van Dusen-Roemer. Has four brothers (JayVan Dusen, Justin Van Dusen, Jordan Van Dusen, Sean Roemer) and onesister (Shannon Roemer). Favorite food is popcorn. Lists hergreatest athletic experience as competing at the Junior OlympicNationals in gymnastics for two straight years. Majoring inbiochemistry with plans on becoming a cardiac surgeon.
