2012-13: Raced in two cross country meets as afreshman. Earned a season-best time of 26:26.2 at the UB StampedeInvitational which was good for a 31st place finish. Placed 58th atthe Paul Short Invite with a time of 26:33.0 in the 8Kevent.
High School: Earned 12 letters and captainedone season at West Genesee High School for coach Jim Vermeulen.Finished 27th of 107 at the 2011 New York State Class A CrossCountry Championships. Placed eighth in the 1600m at the 2012 NewYork State Indoor Championships.
Personal: Born December 2,1993. Son of Fred andGrace Leff. Has one brother (David) and one sister (Laura). Hobbiesinclude ultimate frisbee and the violin. Favorite TV show is TheColbert Report. Favorite athlete is distance racer Bernard Lagat.Majoring in mechanical engineering.
