
Bulls Post Personal Records at Princeton Fall Classic

PRINCETON, NJ β The University at Buffalo cross country program continued its season at the Princeton Fall Classic on Friday, competing against numerous ranked programs in both the men's and women's races. Six Bulls posted personal records amongst the large fields of competition.
The Buffalo women placed 20th in the field of 25 teams in the 6k race. Vassi Klock was the team's top runner, placing 53rd in the field of 270 student-athletes with a new personal record of 21:07.7. Bronagh Cassidy (72nd, 21:19.1) and Jacquie Appenheimer (142nd, 21:57.5) were next to place for the Bulls, both posting personal records of their own. Paris Welker (163rd, 22:17.0) and Fiona Klingbeil (181st, 22:32.5) rounded out the team's top five. Ciena Ferguson (187th, 22:34.2) and Sophie Brettholtz (228th, 23:02.2) also posted personal record times.
The Buffalo men placed 24th of 31 programs in the 8k race. Cameron Bogdan was the Bulls' top finisher, placing 90th in the field of 318 runners with a personal best time of 24:38.2. Noah Brightman (116th, 24:32.4) and Jacob Brink (143rd, 24:46.0) were the next to place for the men. Collin Stafford (156th, 24:52.3) and Matt Gensel (164th, 24:58.3) rounded out the Bulls' top five. Luke Stoeffler (183rd, 25:03.6) also posted a personal best time.

The Bulls will have a group of student-athletes compete at the Canisius Alumni Classic on Saturday afternoon. The meet begins at noon in North Buffalo's Delaware Park. Live results can be found here.
