2016: Made 15 appearances in the circle, mostly in relief...started against Furman (3/12), pitching 2.1 innings...she had two strikeouts in appearances against Rhode Island (2/27) and Ball State (4/9).
High School: Captained three seasons for head coach Mary Karen Wheat at Brockport High School, helping her team to a 17-6 record as a season…batted .487 with 32 runs batted in as a senior, while also finishing with a 1.05 ERA in the circle…won four division titles and two sectional championships…named first-team All-Greater Rochester…played her club softball for New Era Diamond Girls.
Personal: Born February 15, 1997…daughter of Dan and Julie Light…has two brothers (Justin, Andrew)…her father played football at Cortland, while her grandfather played football at Syracuse…favorite athlete is Lauren Chamberlain…favorite move is The Blind Side…chose UB because she fell in love with the campus…lists her greatest athletic experience as getting the hit to win regionals…lists her dream as a college athlete is to win the MAC Championship.
