2019: Appeared in 33 games and made 24 starts in her final year in Buffalo… Finished the season with a 5-18 overall record to go along with a team-best 3.99 ERA, the second-best mark of her career… Recorded 11 complete games on the year… Struck out 93 batters and allowed just 39 walks in 149.0 innings pitched… Struck out four or more batters 12 times… Recorded a season-high seven strikeouts at Bowling Green (4/12)… Picked up her first win of the season against Nebraska-Omaha (2/15) as she allowed just one run and struck out two batters in a compete game effort… Recorded back-to-back complete games against Northern Illinois (3/24) and Central Michigan (3/29)… Notched six strikeouts in six innings of work at Miami (4/19)… Recorded six strikeouts in a complete game effort against Ohio (5/3)… Finished her career ranked second in program history in games started (81), third in career appearances (110), fourth in innings pitched (490.0) and ranks fifth in strikeouts (348) while compiling a 4.32 career ERA.
2018: Appeared in 33 games and made 29 starts during her junior campaign… Finished the season with a 13-17 record to go along with a team-best 4.53 ERA… Recorded 15 complete games and two shutouts on the year… Pitched 154.2 innings, striking out 111 batters while holding opponents to a .304 batting average against… Picked up her first win of the season against Appalachian State (2/10) as she went 7.0 innings and allowed just two runs while striking out eight batters… Recorded eight strikeouts in a complete game victory over Youngstown State (2/27)… Allowed just one run and struck out six in a complete game win over Alabama State (3/3)… Tossed back-to-back complete games against Seton Hall (3/4) and Florida A&M (3/16), striking out 12 batters over that two-game stretch…Notched a complete game victory over Akron (3/3) allowing two runs while striking out three batters… Struck out a season-high ten batters in a shutout win over Canisius (4/18)… Tossed a complete game, striking out six batters in a win over Miami (OH) on May 4.
2017: Turned into the Bulls go-to pitcher in the circle during her sophomore campaign as she appeared in 26 games and made 19 starts...was named All-MAC second team in the utility/pitcher spot... finished the season with a 3-15 record to go along with a team-best 3.27 ERA... recorded 11 complete games and one shutout on the year... pitched 124.1 innings while striking out 95 batters and holding opponents to a .266 batting average against... finished off her first win of the season against Hartford (2/26) as she went 7.0 innings and allowed just one hit while striking out nine batters... notched 10 strikeouts across 6.0 innings of one run ball against George Mason (2/24)... struck out a career-best 11 batters in a loss at Akron (4/4)... picked up a victory over Western Illinois (3/12) as she went 7.0 innings while allowing just two runs and striking out five batters... collected her lone conference victory over Ball State (3/26) as she went 7.0 innings and allowed two earned runs while striking out four batters... had nine games inside the circle with five or more strikeouts... at the plate, she recorded 107 at bats while posting a .215 batting average and .280 slugging percentage... finished the season with 23 hits, 10 RBI and five runs scored... notched her first career home run against Hartford (2/25) as she went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a run scored in the victory... had a career day at the plate in the Bulls 13-0 victory over Mount St. Mary''s (3/22) as she went 4-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI and a run scored... had five multi-hit efforts and three multi-RBI efforts at the plate on the year... earned Academic All-MAC honors for the first time in her UB career
2016: Made 18 appearances and nine starts in the circle...threw 6.2 innings and struck out a career-best eight batters against Hampton (2/26)...had seven strikeouts in 7.0 innings of work at Niagara (5/2)...also had nine at bats on the year with three hits...drove in her first career runs at Arkansas (3/4).
High School: Earned four letters and captained one season for head coach Toby Tabola at Ponderosa High School…was named the Colorado Gatorade Player of the Year as she finished with a 0.95 ERA as a senior with 268 strikeouts in 154 innings and just 19 walks…also batted .453 from the plate…was named first-team All-State and also named the Continental League Player of the Year…played her club softball for the Colorado Styxx.
Personal: Born September 27, 1996…daughter of James and Mary Power…has two sisters (Lauren, Sammie)…favorite athlete is Jonathan Toews…favorite TV show is How I Met Your Mother…lists her dream as a college athlete is to receive a championship ring…wants to set the career strikeouts record while at UB…if she could be on any reality show, it would be House Hunters.
