2019: Appeared in 20 games in her final season with the Bulls… Recorded a .968 fielding percentage… Notched her lone hit of the season against Loyola Marymount (2/10).
2018: Appeared in 33 of 47 games for the Bulls in her junior campaign… Recorded her first multi-hit game of the season in a win over Youngstown State (2/23) as she went 2-for-3 with a double… Smacked her first home run of the season against Northern Kentucky (3/4) as she went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored… Went 1-for-2 with an RBI in a win over Florida A&M (3/16)… Blasted a two-run home run in a win over Eastern Michigan (3/24)… Hit a two-run home run in a win over Miami (OH) as she went 1-for-3 at the plate with two RBI and a run scored in the final series of the season (5/4).
2017: Appeared in 39 games and made 25 starts as a sophomore... closed out the season with nine hits, six RBI and five runs scored to go along with four doubles... record a double in his first at-bat of her Buffalo career against Southeastern Louisiana (2/17)... notched her first career two-hit game against Southeast Missouri State (2/19) as she went 2-for-3 with a RBI and a run scored... recorded a pinch hit double and RBI against Mount St. Mary''s (3/22)... record 154 put outs at first base and posted a .953 fielding percentage on the year.
Prior to UB: Spent her freshman season at St. Peter''s University...played in 40 games for the Peacocks where she hit .220 with four doubles and one home run, which she hit on April 24 against Niagara.
High School: was a four-year letterwinner for head coach Regina Hernandez at Bishop Alemany in Sylmar, CA under where she helped her team to three Mission League titles (2013, 2014, 2015) and she was a first-team All-Mission League selection in 2015....hit .391 during her senior year with 12 home runs...also played volleyball in high school.
Personal: Born February 19, 1997...daughter of Roger and Lisa Cuevas...has one sister Stephanie, who played softball at the University of Illinois...enjoys reading and hiking...favorite athlete is Adrian Gonzalez...favorite food is pizza...chose Buffalo because of the great environment with an academic and athletic staff who are passionate about what they do...lists her dream as a college athlete as going to the College World Series...if she could visit anywhere in the world, it would be the Bahamas.
