Guerber Named MAC Offensive Player of the Week

BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo women's soccer graduate student forward Jasmine Guerber has been named the Mid-American Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon.
It is the second weekly honor for Guerber and the fifth overall for the Bulls this season.
The Montreal, Quebec native came up big for the Bulls, recording a pair of game-winning goals to lead UB to a 2-0 record on the week. On Thursday, Guerber one-timed a shot bar down to lead the Bulls to a 2-1 win over Ball State. She followed that up with another game-winner in the 47th minute in a road win at Kent State on Sunday. Guerber leads the MAC assists (4) and shots (31) ranks third in points (12). She also leads the Bulls in those three categories while ranking second in goals (4).
Guerber and the Bulls face off against Akron on Thursday at 7pm at UB Stadium.
