Bulls Fall to Northern Illinois on Friday Afternoon

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team lost to Northern Illinois, 5-2, on Friday afternoon at the Miller Tennis Center.
The Bulls got off to a good start, winning two of the three doubles matches to take the doubles point. Daniils Snaiders and Finn Macnamara were victorious at one doubles, 7-6, while Michael Malkin and Theodoros Mitsakos won, 6-4, at second doubles.
Mitsakos defeated Mikael Vollbach, 7-5, 6-1, at second singles. With the win, he improved to 11-4 in singles play on the season.
Malkin and MacNamara were each able to force a third set but were unable to pull out the victory.
The Bulls are back home on Sunday when they host UIC at 11 am at the Miller Tennis Center.
