Bulls Fall to UIC on Senior Day

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team fell to UIC, 5-2, on Senior Day at the UB Tennis Courts on Sunday afternoon.
The Bulls got off to a good start, winning all three doubles matches to take the doubles point. Daniils Sniaders and Finn Macnamara were victorious at one doubles, 6-4, while Michael Malkin and Theodoros Mitsakos won 6-2 at second doubles and Yu-Shiang Huang and Ryan Thompson picked up a 6-4 victory at the third position.
Macnamara picked up a win in the last home match of his career, defeating Mihailo Savic 6-7, 6-2, 6-2 at fifth singles.
Mitsakos and Thompson were each able to force a third set but were unable to pull out the victory.
The Bulls conclude the regular season on Saturday, April 13 at Toledo.
