
Women’s Tennis To Begin Four-Match Homestand Friday

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team returns to Western New York to begin a four-match homestand, hosting Western Michigan on Friday at 1pm and Eastern Michigan on Sunday at 11am. If weather cooperates, those matches will be played outside at the UB Tennis Courts, otherwise they will be held at Miller Tennis Center.
The Bulls are 3-2 on the season following a pair of conference defeats last week on the road. Buffalo remains undefeated at home. Junior Hsin-Yuan Shih went a perfect 3-0 in singles for the Bulls last week at fourth singles.
Western Michigan enters the weekend with an 11-1 record and 3-1 mark in conference play. The Broncos had won their first 11 matches of the year before suffering a 6-1 loss to Ball State this past Sunday.
Eastern Michigan enters its Friday match against Toledo with a 6-8 mark and the Eagles are 0-4 in league play. EMU has lost all four of its first conference matches by 6-1 scores.
