2013-14: Omorogbe competed in four individual events during her junior campaign...clocked indoor-best times of 59.58 in the 400-meter dash, 1:35.90 in the 600 and 2:14.35 in the 800 to win the event at the Akron Zips Invitational...outdoors had a top 800 performance of 2:14.80 at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic.
2012-13: Had a top indoor time in the 400m dash of 1:01.32 at the Cornell Upstate Challenge...recorded a career-best 500m dash time of 1:19.36 at the Cornell Marc Denault Invite...set a career-best 800m dash time of 2:19.38 at the Princeton Sam Howell Invitational...was part of the 4x100m relay team that placed third at the Toledo Collegiate Challenge in a time of 49.58.
2011-12: Set UB’s top indoor triple jump at 35-5.25 at Cornell Marc Denault Invitational. Also had top indoor 400m time of 1:00.75. Posted season-best outdoor triple jump mark of 35-6.75 at Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic.
High School: Earned six letters and captained four times at Colonie High School for coach Jamie Carr. Part of Colonie’s 4x400m indoor relay state champion squad. Named team’s most outstanding sprinter three times. Set school records in triple jump and two relays.
Personal: Born April 30, 1993. Daughter of Amen and Tina Omorogbe. Has one brother (Uyi) and one sister (Nosa). Favorite athletes include track stars Alyson Felix and Lolo Jones. Favorite movie is Love and Basketball. Chose UB over Holy Cross, St. Lawrence and Lehigh. Majoring in biology.
