2012-13: Recroded the second longest shot puteffort of the season at the SPIRE Midwest Open with a throw of 55-2(16.81m)...picked up a second place finish in the discus throw witha toss of 170-3 (51.89m) at the Toledo CollegiateChallenge...placed third in the hammer throw at the ToledoCollegiate Challenge with a throw of 191-9 (58.45m)...hisseason-best hammer throw came at the Princeton Sam HowellInvitational with a distance of 197-2 (60.10m).
2011-12: Did not compete during the indoor oroutdoor seasons.
2010-11: Named Top Newcomer for outdoor season.Won the MAC discus title, setting a season-best mark of 177-2,earning first-team All-MAC honors at the MAC Outdoor Championships.Also finished fifth in the hammer throw (season-best 195-8) at theMAC meet. Competed at the NCAA East Regional Preliminary Roundfinishing 18th in the discus (174-8) and 39th in the hammer(182-3).
Previous College: Competed atMaryland-Baltimore Country. The Retrievers’ top hammerthrower, he finished fifth at the 2010 America East OutdoorChampionships
High School: Lettered three seasons atShenendehowa High School for coach Scott Dochat. The 2009 statediscus runner-up. Won two sectional shot put titles and a discustitle. Earned Section II All-Star honors from the AlbanyTimes-Union in 2007 and 2008 and Shenendehowa’s Vogel Awardfor excellence in athletics.
