2013-14: Raced in four individual events as a freshman...clocked indoor season-best times of 50.48 in the 400, 1:57.26 in the 800 and 4:52.16 in the mile run...outdoors he raced to a season-best 1:54.54 in the 800 run.
High School: Set personal best marks in the 400m run (49.8), 800m run (1:52) and 1,600m run (4:18) as a senior. Was the State Champion in the 800m run as a freshman and senior. Indoor 1,000m run State Champion as a senior.
Personal: Born February 4, 1995. Son of Kim McCarty. Has two siblings, Cody and Nicole. His favorite foods are pizza and french fries. Lists his favorite movie as Harry Potter. His favorite athletes are Galen Rupp and Nick Symmonds. Majoring in history at UB.
