Jack Fitzpatrick enters his seventh season at Buffalo in the 2025-26 season and his third as an assistant coach. Fitzpatrick served as the team's video coordinator from 2019-22 and the special assistant to the head coach from 2022-23.
In the 2020-21 season, he was part of a staff that helped guide the Bulls to an appearance in the MAC Championship game and just the second NIT appearance in school history.
Fitzpatrick played his college ball at Division II Emmanuel University in Georgia where he was a three-year captain and the valedictorian at the school. During his tenure with the Lions, he went 95-37 and helped guide EU to its first NCAA Tournament berth in school history.
Jack’s father, John Fitzpatrick, was an assistant coach at the Division I level for over 30 years, highlighted by a stint at the U.S. Naval Academy where he coached David Robinson during their elite eight run. He also made a number of other coaching stops including Houston, Virginia, George Washington, and Ball State to name a few.
