Bio
2024: Appeared and started in all 20 games… Had a breakthrough junior season in which she recorded career-highs in goals (2), assists (4), points (8) and total shots (27)… Scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in a win over Colgate (9/8)… Recorded the game-tying goal against Kent State (10/17)… Notched assists in wins at Akron (9/19) and against Toledo (10/10) and Ohio (10/24)… Earned Academic All-MAC honors for the first time in her career… Received Academic All-District recognition.
2023: Started all 18 games as a junior… Named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team… Recorded two assists and 17 shots… Assisted on the go-ahead goal at Central Michigan (10/5)… Notched an assist on a game-tying goal against Kent State (10/26)… Earned Academic All-MAC honors for the first time in her career.
2022: Appeared in all 21 games, earning 20 starts, as a rookie… Named to the MAC All-Freshman Team… Recorded three assists and 12 shots… Made an immediate impact, recording an assist in the season-opening win over Binghamton (8/18)… Assisted on the equalizing goal against Western Michigan (10/2)… Notched an assist on a second-half insurance goal in the win over Eastern Michigan (10/9).
Hich School: Woods comes to Buffalo from nearby Lewiston, NY where she played for Lewiston Porter and the Western New York Flash ECNL. She was a force for Lew-Port over her four years as she has amassed over 60 career goals and assists and just over 200 career points while leading the Lancers to three Section VI championships, including a thrilling win over Royalton-Hartland in the 2021 overall Section VI Class B championship to advance to the Far West Regional for the first time since 1996. She then scored two goals and added an assist as the Lancers defeated Palmyra-Macedon to advance to the NYSPHSA Final Four. Woods is a two-time First Team All-Niagara Frontier League selection and was named First Team All-Western New York and second team All-State as a junior. Woods was also an all-league selection in track and basketball. In club ball, she helped the WNY Flash win the U17 North American Cup National Championship. Woods excels off the pitch as well as she was a member of the National Honors Society and is a four-year member of the high honor roll.
