• The RedHawks were selected second in the 13-team league in the Mid-American Conference Preseason Poll. Peter Suder and Eian Elmer were named to the Preseason All-MAC Team. Last season, Miami went 25-9 overall and 14-4 in conference play. They fell to Akron in the MAC Championship game, 76-74.
• The RedHawks have six players averaging over 10.0 ppg with Brant Byers leading the way with 15.4 ppg. Elmer leads the team with 6.0 rpg as Luke Skaljac has 95 total assists on the season.
THE BULL-ETIN BOARD
• Ryan Sabol has been sensational over the last five games. He's averaging 23.4 ppg, the fourth-most in the MAC as his 117 points scored in this span is second in the league. The sharp three-point shooter made the most threes with 22. From the floor, he is 42-of-81 for a .519 field goal percentage including a .449 three-point percentage as he's 22-of-46. In this stretch, Sabol is the only MAC player with five 20-point performances. The last time a Bull scored 20+ in five straight came in the 2023-24 season when they did so in five straight.
• Dating back to 2004-05 on available records, this is the first time the Bulls have had six 30-point performances in a single season as Daniel Freitag has done so four times as Ryan Sabol has done it twice this season. The 2012-13 squad finished with five such performances. Over the last three previous seasons, Buffalo only had four 30-point performances.
• The Bulls have made 10+ three-pointers in seven of their last 11 games, averaging 10.4 per game. In that stretch, they're 114-of-279, good for a .409 three-point percentage. On the season, Buffalo has made at least eight three-pointers in 17 of their 22 games as they're averaging 9.6 per game.
• Ryan Sabol is 13 points shy of tying Ronaldo Segu (2018-22) for 19th all-time in program history with 1,115 points. Also reaching milestones are Ezra McKenna and Mikhail Pocknett. The former is a point away from 1,700 career points as the latter is four points shy of 1,300.
• UB has made 210 three-pointers so far this season. 37.5% of their points have come from three-point range, the best mark in the MAC with Akron. Miami is second at 37.0%.
• Ryan Sabol is the only Bull to score 10+ points in every conference game this season. He's averaging 20.5 ppg, tied for third in the MAC.
• UB has recorded 25 20-point performances this season. Last year they finished with just 16 such games.

• Ryan Sabol recorded his 16th game of his career with five or more three-pointers in a single game against Bowling Green last Tuesday night. • Four Bulls have combined to score over 5,700 points in their collegiate careers. Ezra McKenna leads the way with 1,699 points as his fellow NAIA transfer in Derrick Talton Jr. has 1,639 points.
