Bulls Defeat Eastern Michigan 5-2 on Senior Day

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team (17-5, 4-3 MAC) defeated Eastern Michigan 5-2 on Senior Day at Miller Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon.
Eastern Michigan took the doubles point with wins at first and third doubles.
After the Eagles took a 2-0 lead with a win at first singles, Blanca Berges got the Bulls on the board with a 6-4, 6-2 win at fifth singles and later, Maria Glowacka picked up a 6-2, 6-4 victory at the second position to tie the match at two. Senior Jagmeet Kaur put the Bulls back on top with a hard-fought 7-6, 6-1 win at third singles.
Sophomore Julia Laspro then clinched the match for UB with a 7-6, 7-5 victory at fourth singles and Liv Roestel put the exclamation point on the day, winning just seconds later with a 6-4, 7-6 victory at six singles.
Up next, Buffalo will hit the road for a pair of matches beginning on Friday, April 11 at Western Michigan.
