Malkin/Huang Named MAC Doubles Team of the Week

BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo men's tennis duo of Michael Malkin and Yu-Shiang Huang have been named the Mid-American Conference Co-Doubles Team of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.
It is the first weekly honor for Malkin/Huang and the fourth overall for the Bulls this season.
Malkin and Huang had a solid weekend as they went 2-0 from the first doubles position to lead Buffalo to a pair of wins. On Wednesday, they defeated Mercyhurst 6-3, and they followed that with another 6-3 victory to help lead UB to a big road win at Youngstown State. With the wins, the duo improves to 4-2 on the season.
Up next, Buffalo returns to action with a pair of matches in Cleveland, beginning on Saturday, March 1 against DePaul.
