Daniel Freitag Named MAC Player of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced their weekly honors on Monday afternoon. Buffalo sophomore guard Daniel Freitag was named MAC Player of the Week.
Freitag had a career-night against the Vermont Catamounts on Tuesday. He scored a career-high 33 points against the Catamounts where he shot .500 from the floor going 10-for-20. He added a career-high four three-points going 4-of-9 from deep. After drawing six fouls, the sophomore guard went 9-of-10 from the charity stripe. He snagged a career-high three steals in the win. Over the last two games, he has scored a combined 60 points. Freitag has helped the Bulls to their first 5-0 record since 2018-19.
The Bulls are back in action on Wednesday as they play the Bucknell Bison at 1:30 p.m. to close out the Palms Division of the Skechers For Myers Tip-Off.
