Bulls Earn Conference Player of The Week Honors

BUFFALO, NY – Despite losing 5-2 on Sunday against Western Michigan at home, members of Buffalo men's tennis team earned Player of the Week conference honors.
Buffalo seniors Amar Hromic and Pablo Alvarez were named Doubles Duo of the Week after winning at first doubles, 6-3. It's the duo's fifth-straight victory and eighth win in their last nine doubles matches.
This is the fifth time this season and the second time in two weeks that Hromic and Alvarez have been named Doubles Duo of the Week by the MAC.
Buffalo senior Pablo Alvarez also earned Co-Singles Player of the Week for his performance at first singles. He won in three sets against his opponent form Western Michigan. After losing the first set 6-1, Alvarez battled back to win the next two sets, 6-2, 6-2 to earn a team point at first singles. It's his fifth win in his last six singles matches.
For the second time this season, Alvarez has earned the both conference honors in the same week. It's his second Singles Player of The Week honors, while he has won the doubles honors five times.
