Men's Tennis Wraps Up Play At ITA Regionals

PHILADELPHIA, PA - The University at Buffalo men's tennis team saw its run at the ITA Northeast Regionals come to an end on Sunday falling in the round of 16 in both single and doubles play.
In singles, freshman Hao Sheng Koay saw his run come to an end with a tough 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 loss to William Matheson of Columbia. It was a solid performance from the rookie, who was playing in his first ITA Regionals.
In doubles action, Koay and Ethan Nittolo saw their run, which began in the qualifying draw, also come to a close in the round of 16 with an 8-4 loss to the ranked squad of Brian Yeung and Michael Peters from Harvard.
It will be a quick turnaround for the Bulls as they head to Kalamazoo, MI on Friday for the three-day MAC Singles/Doubles tournament.
