David Named MAC Men's Tennis Singles Player of the Week

BUFFALO, NY – Senior Damien David of The University at Buffalo, State University of New York men's tennis team was named Mid-American Conference Singles Player of the Week announced Wednesday.
David won first singles matches at Army and against Boston College this weekend at the Army Kickoff. He outlasted Black Knight Sam Lampman, 6-4, 3-6, 6-2, and defeated BC's Phillip Nelson, 6-4, 6-2. David also teamed with junior Amar Hromic to win their first doubles match against Boston College, 7-6, while helping the Bulls to a 2-1 week.
UB returns to the court on Saturday, Feb. 7 traveling to Cleveland State for a 6 pm match.
